Terms
These terms cover use of this website and enquiries made through it. Work for a client is covered by a written scope and price agreed before it starts.
What we do
Auspex Watch inspects, supervises and reports on electrical and HVAC work, and writes assessment, maintenance and supervision plans. We give independent findings. We do not guarantee the work of any contractor.
Quotes and agreements
A quote is valid for 30 days unless it says otherwise. Work begins when you accept the written scope and price. Anything outside the scope is quoted separately.
Payment
Plans and assessments are paid in part at the start and the balance on delivery. Supervision and commissioning are paid on completed stages. Details are in your quote.
Photographs and reports
We photograph the site as evidence of what was found and checked. Reports are for the client named on them. We keep the images as part of the record of the work.
Artisans
Artisans we introduce are independent. They work under their own agreement with the party that engages them, and carry their own responsibility for the quality and safety of their work.
Limits
Our findings reflect what we could see and test on the day of the visit. We are not liable for faults that were hidden, inaccessible or that arise after our visit. Our liability is limited to the fee paid for the service in question, to the extent the law allows.
